RE: CBS Predictions
Methinks FAU will make some noise this year, hopefully not at the detriment to MT.

Still would have liked to have seen what the FAU interim coach could have done. Where did he end up ?

That was Brian Wright. He stayed on at FAU as OC/Associate HC.

RE: CBS Predictions
Initially we kept both our DC and OC from last year, but the DC left to take a job at Army. We were VERY lucky to keep Coach Wright IMHO. The disruption to the offense has been minimal.

Last year's, for comparison: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball...redictions

Everyone was way off on Tulsa, who was unanimously picked to win the west, and all but one picked them to win the conference. But they nearly all had Rice at 2, so not bad there. East top two votes were all ECU or Marshall, which was pretty good. Pretty far off on several others as well, notably UTSA.

Yeah we were projected to lose out in conference play last year. On paper this looks decent but only time will tell

Why the ouch? This is what is expected of FIU. They had like 2-3 above average years and then fired the guy that got them there. They deserve to be where they are. Actually no they don't, they should still be in the Sun Belt.

FIU has some of the best and diehard fans I've ever had the privilege of meeting. The problem is their athletic director. Not the players, the coaches, the fans, etc...

Trust me, I'm sticking my head out for my rival here. They deserve better than what they've gotten recently.

Ok, then why is he still there. I know there are always politics behind everything, but an AD should be judged on football and basketball so he should have been fired years ago.

*AD and President.

Again, the fans deserve better.

RE: CBS Predictions
Is it just me or the EAST "predictions", when averaged out, are not that far from the way the EAST finished last season? Except, of course, the inclusion of the Monarchs.
