Didn't they lose a couple of their key players from last year's team? I haven't been following them closely so I don't know if this is largely the same team that rolled into the tourney undefeated last season.

I think the only starter they lost was Cleanthony Early. They return VanVleet, Cotton, Baker, and a number of role players. They will likely be ranked Top 10, maybe Top 5 to begin the season, and this will be an extremely rough early test. That's a lot of talent and experience in their backcourt vs our freshman guards. Honestly if we keep it within 10 I'll be ok.

my feelings too, tough game. However, taking lumps makes us stronger for conference play.

Per Expedia, roughly $450 per person, 4hr 37min flight with 1 stop.

Still, that a--whooping had us playing like a top 10 team a few weeks later. The wheels fell off around February, but I'd love our young guys to feel a heartbreaker like that in November. We'll find out what they're made of straight away.
