I like a kid that is concerned about the graduation rate not just football. I still feel that in close knit families NIU will win out over other MAC schools for Minnesota, Wisconsin and most Illinois kids. WMU is the closest MAC school to us and it is still 2 hrs away from Chicago

Looks like we have commits from 9 states. # kids from Ill. Starting to wonder if the talent level is slipping in Ill.

I don't think that instate talent is starting to slip, I just think the Huskies are able to get commits from many different places due to their recent success.

thats probably true but I bet NU and UI will have many more out of staters then Ill kids.

I've said this on several other posts. I travel a lot for work. The perception of NIU is probably even better out of state.
