I would imagine these are going to be "lesser" opponents. Not sure SchedulePalooza is the best idea, especially when you consider some people were bitching about Maryland.

There's only 2 games scheduled for both 2016 and 2017 right now, and of those 4 games only one of them are at home.

This is where a home and home with FIU/FAU might be announced.

I don't know any details but these announcements will not be lesser opponents. Look for a possible SEC opponent. We will see

I know Carey likes to have FCS teams. But, does Frazier? Do we think there will be an FCS team each year? What if Frazier is able to schedule consistent Gof5 teams for home and homes to have two each season, with P5 home games and SF games sprinkled in.

I think you're going to have to play FCS teams in 2016 and 17 or you're going to end up playing 7 road games. I think Frazier will make it so it's in state FCS teams, but I think HuskieJohn has the right idea.

I just wanted to set the bar low for myself...some people on here got my hopes/expectations so far up last week and I was unfair to the greatness of #SchedulePalooza when MD was announced on Friday.

I think Frazier wants to give NIU season ticket holders a min of 6 home games.

With the Nebraska game in 2017 its really hard to work in 6 home games in both 16 and 17 without FCS teams...unless we bring in a Sun Belt or CUSA team for a 1-0 but I doubt that.

Frazier's stated #1 goal in scheduling is to position us for the G5 slot in one of the Access Bowls. I would think that means games against G5 teams and not FCS teams.

Or it could be 2016/2017 which fits for both schools. This is a game we should be scheduling for recruiting purposes which is why I keep bringing up the FIU/FAU argument up.
