Question 1 the big key.

Lynch should be much better this season. Even adding a handful of TDs compared to last year should result in a few more wins alone.

I will have some renewed optimism if our receivers can catch a few more footballs thrown their way.

This.

Last year's offensive struggles had more to do with drops than people realize. It's not just the drop, but what would have been a first down or 2nd/3rd and short, turned into tougher down and distances, which then turned into more turnovers, punts, and worse field position. Not to mention, the QB and offense losing confidence, after every drop...

The team was better last year than the year before.

They folded late which was disturbing.

The teams in the final 3 games they were playing had nothing to play for either, but they showed up.

I think that had to do more with the close loses and the futility of the season. Losing multiple close games like they did and how they did was more than that team could take.

There was also some things going on behind the scenes that might have influenced the outcome of those games.

It was final 2 games (Temple and UConn), not final 3.

RE: Five football questions from CA.
Was the behind the scenes stuff related to Jacob Karem not getting to play and some teammates being disgruntled?
