The reports we get from the poster seems to be a lot more informative than what we get from the media. Hope someone goes and gives us some insight.

You're probably not going to see a whole lot until they put pads on.

Although you can get a better idea about QBs without pads as you can any position (and CBs/WRs), and I guess that's probably all anybody cares abut right now anyways lol

I would go today, if I knew anyone else was going , I'm going next Saturday for sure

I would like to try and get out there in the next week or two but I have no clue what the schedule is

I went to practice today (Sunday). Not a lot to report because they were just in helmets so it was mostly drills and 7 on 7 type stuff. Still I wanted to get a look at the QBs and some of the new guys.

FWIW I thought Hare threw the ball a little better than McIntosh today, more accurate. Both looked pretty good to me. Maddie looks to be behind them which is consistent with the pre-camp depth chart that was released a week or so ago. I just don't see Maddie being part of this horse race. He doesn't throw as well as the other guys. He throws sidearm and when he tries to get more on a throw it sails. I'm rooting for the kid but I've seen them three times now (twice in spring) and Maddie was third best each time, just my observation.

The two freshmen QBs, Root and Graham, look great. They don't appear to be pushing for playing time at this point but they're strong, athletic and throw with good velocity and accuracy. Real good looking for true freshmen. The future looks bright with them in the pipeline. Mack Waldman was not there. He may be one of the guys who has to wait for school to start to join the team due to roster limits. Siosifa Malolo may be in the same boat. He was there today but not dressed. He hung around the d-line as they went through their drills.

I didn't have a roster with me so I couldn't identify all of the new guys. Ezra Saffold was flying around out there, looking fast, as was Deucee Turner. Our team speed jumps out at you as you watch this team practice. New guys Skyler Monaghan and Jay Schneider look like twins on the field. Same size and body type. They were both really fast doing end arounds.

Not much to report on the D. They mostly went through drills which are like watching paint dry. Rock Lemon was out there. I do get the feeling that Anthony Brooks might start at corner opposite Paris Logan as the depth chart showed. He looks pretty good.

Miscellaneous notes:
-The new practice uni's look sweet.

-Douglas Hall has the chain link fence around it but there are no other signs of progress in demolition. I think I read somewhere that they're doing asbestos abatement first?

Thanks for posting. It's good to hear the two frosh QBs looked good. It's too bad Maddie isn't a better passer, he really could be special with his running abilities.
