Should be a good start to the college football season! I know I'm ready...

Crossing my fingers that boise state gets ruined. For Vandal fans, there isn't much else to hope for.

Don't know many $EC fans, do you?

Well of course you can because it is impossible to "not wait" for something. That is unless you have a time machine than you could conceivably move forward in time and avoid the wait.

Let's start a movement to replace "can't wait" with "I'm looking forward to...."

So for your entertainment you're ready to watch mostly poor black kids being exploited for the physical ability they were bred for so corporations and colleges can make millions all while the black kids get paid nothing and often end up with injuries that last a lifetime while having no recourse at compensation for the medical care they'll need?

You probably would have loved watching gladiators.

I like seeing young people get an education, and have some fun in the process, playing team based sports.

I don't care what color they are...

Agreed about "I can't wait". I do hate the wait, but there's nothing I can do about it, still going to have to wait.

Funny you mention that since in 2 weeks (August 23), I'll be attending the opening two game of the NYState hockey league U16 schedule, between the Rochester Monarchs and Syracuse Nationals. A full week before CFB.

And my grandson's travel Bantam Minor team started practice this past week. So I spent several hours on the ice. For the hockey ignoramuses, Bantam Minor is the first full checking age group.

As a Boston Bruins fan, I'm very disappointed in the Lightning. They shouldn't have rolled over like that to the f***ing Habs!!!
