I don't think you get it. Giving them a license legitimizes them. Voting rights are next.

A true drivers license is, to most people, proof of legal status. This is an ugly development. A government issued ID is all that is required for a lot of things, like voting. Guess what, illegals now have that government issued ID it seems.

Giving them a license doesn't legitimize them,
but does ID them. Easier to round up when we get
some real leadership.
