Looks like Olsen will be missing the Louisville game in a month. Based on past performance, I'm not sure there is a significant drop-off from Miami's #1-3 at QB, and that'd not necessarily a compliment to all three. It simply may not be a bad thing for them to start Heaps.

People have been pretty sure he's gonna be the starter for a while now, just based on his experience and his 'prior capabilities'. I hope it translates well. It won't be like having a frosh starting in a hostile 60k environment, since Heaps has played in games like that for years.

Believe it or not Miami has some good coaches who will do what's needed to give the team the best chance to win. If it's Heaps, and he comes out and plays well, I guess I'll laugh in your face since you seem so certain that Louisville is going to blow Miami out. If not, I'd say what I'm saying now - it's a risk and he was a great quarterback coming into college who hasn't found his place.

Seems like you also said that Miami would get destroyed by Florida last year too, and we know how that turned out. It's not a rivalry, if you never win, then we beat them and you quieted down about that.

I'll start caring about the results of drug tests when they start honestly testing for steroids instead of pot. I believe the NCAA (and the NFL) have thrown in the towel on PED testing.
