Transitive Property of College Football Teams
A month away from the season. As we all face early OOC opponents, some of which are not familiar, you can have a little fun picking your team and an opposing team, and make the argument based upon transitive scores, that your team is better. Pretty fun!

http://www.myteamisbetterthanyourteam.com/

Output looks like this...............proof that ODU was better than Rice in 2013!

Div I - FCS Old Dominion beat Idaho 59 - 38
Div I - FBS Idaho beat Temple 26 - 24
Div I - FBS Temple beat Memphis 41 - 21
Div I - FBS Memphis beat South Florida 23 - 10
Div I - FBS South Florida beat Cincinnati 26 - 20
Div I - FBS Cincinnati beat Houston 24 - 17
Div I - FBS Houston beat Rice 31 - 26

Therefore, Old Dominion is better than Rice in 2013
as shown in 7 rounds by a combined score of 230 - 156.

I'm just happy for us to the object of this exercise.

See ya on the field 9-10-14, ODU. We'll try to hold you under 200.

You were just the example of how ridiculous this can be. Actually a compliment that I chose Rice to demonstrate this.

We'll take our lumps this year, for sure, but hopefully we'll be competitive against both Owl teams we face on the road.

Div I - FBS East Carolina beat North Carolina 55-31
Div I - FBS North Carolina is better than Florida St because North Carolina beat Boston College 34-10 while Florida St only beat Boston College 48-34

Yeah, this if the transitive property actually worked, ECU should have beat Marshall last year

ECU beat MSTU 24-17
Beat FAU 31-13
Ohio 37-20

While Marshall lost to Ohio and MTSU and only beat beat FAU 24-23

Marshall kicked our teeth in, there is no transitive property in CFB

Div I - FCS Citadel beat Appalachian St 31 - 28
Div I - FCS Appalachian St beat Ga Southern 38 - 14
Div I - FCS Ga Southern beat Florida 26 - 20
Div I - FBS Florida beat Tennessee 31 - 17
Div I - FBS Tennessee beat South Carolina 23-21
Div I - FBS South Carolina beat UCF 28 - 25
Div I - FBS UCF beat Baylor 52 - 42
Div I - FBS Baylor beat Oklahoma 41 - 12
Div I - FBS Oklahoma beat Alabama 45 - 31

Therefore, Old Dominion is better than Alabama in 2013

Now we know why we didn't want to play Alabama. We are out of their league.

Thus, that is clearly a ten carrot post!
