Huge mistake.

Democrats lay low in election years to avoid giving the other side issues, then turn partisan in off years. Republicans bring up stupid stuff right before elections and lose votes as a result.

I'm not saying it's wrong to sue. I'm saying it's stupid to sue NOW.

yep, big mistake... focus on the problems, do not set up a distraction.

I get that, but then when? Post '14 elections it is full bore campaign '16 time. I'm getting calls on stuff already as the ramp up starts.

If, IF (I'm no lawyer, thankfully) the suit has merit and it appears it's the only avenue available to rein in this lawless administration, how do you wait? By then he's got next to no time left, but time enough to do more serious damage than he's done already. But no time to have the suit make it's way and stop this rogue.

Politically the time was probably earlier than now, or later on after '14, but they may have needed events to dictate when moving forward was even possible.

I can't wait for this Admin to be gone but the Republicans will continue to shoot themselves in the foot. All while the Dems sit back and watch.

If when they file the lawsuit and can have a type of restraining (?) order on anything else that obama wants to do perhaps it'll help but if not obama will just keep on doing what's he's doing and laughing about it. People will vote for whomever regardless of this lawsuit. If they are tired of his shenanigans they will vote against the Demoncrats come election time.

I think it's a pretty silly notion that if the GOP does anything to try and stop Obama's agenda it will cost them the mid term election.

Think about how dumb that is.

As if the country loves what Obama is doing and is tired of the GOP trying to stop it.

Democrats are pretty demoralized right now. They see their golden boy stumbling and bumbling around. Go after him in an extracurricular way like this and they'll break out the pitchforks and torches.

The individual voter won't switch sides. People who probably weren't going to vote in the midterm will vote, and those people are the president's people.

We'll see. 60% disapprove of his actions and that includes his people.

This lawsuit is excellent news. Thanks GOPers.

People who were already going to vote R will vote R regardless of whether there is a lawsuit. They're not like democrats, they can't vote three more times because of the lawsuit.

People who were always going to vote D will be more motivated to get out and vote.

People who are undecided are more likely to be turned off by this than turned on by it, particularly when the MSM get through spinning it.

It's not a gain anywhere, and several potential losses.
