I bet UCF is ranked around 23-25. I don't have any reasoning, I just think they will

ucf has a good shot, they always tend to give respect to teams who did good the previous year despite what they lose ..id say ucf has a 50-50 shot

ecu, houston maybe get 1-3 vote points...cincy with a decent amount of vote points but not enough to be ranked

I agree that UCF has a great chance at being ranked preseason. That BCS Bowl wins should be worth at least that much cred.

Now if Skip Holtz were still coaching the Bulls we'd be ranked for sure no matter how bad we sucked. 07-coffee3

UCF might get in towards the bottom of poll.

Cincinnati, Houston, and ECU will receive votes.

You know the poll is utterly worthless if UCF is not ranked and UL is, or if UCF is not ranked and UF is.

UCF is the only team getting votes, none ranked

Opinion or do you somehow have a copy of the poll?

coach polls are made by coaches, including coaches in our league and coaches of the teams we play...this is the worst projection and im sure our coaches or opponents (to make the game look better) will give more than ucf votes

Coaches are also very stupid, or at least, the people casting their votes are. This is the same poll that had UCF BEHIND UL for a few weeks, even after beating UL and having the same record.

...You don't think I know what the damn coaches poll is

I thought you guys meant, like, a substantial number of votes, as in what ESPN shows as the schools "receiving votes" are the ones that are close to the top 25. But if you mean that at least 1 coach is voting for them, then I see Cincy receiving votes but I'm telling you East Carolina and Houston are not going to receive Top 25 votes.

No, no, just my opinion. Didn't mean to make it sound like I was some kind of "insider" 03-lmfao

AAC coaches have votes in this poll, therefore AAC teams will receive votes.

I will be surprised if we don't start in the Top 25.

I think Houston and Cincy will be getting votes as well.

Houston is going to need to be getting votes in all the polls right off the bat if they plan to make the Access Bowl. Its going to be tough to climb much with that schedule.

UCF somewhere around 24-27...Cincy some votes. ECU and UH get no love. What AAC/OOC coaches are going to give UH and ECU votes? MAYBE if they thought UH was best in AAC and ECU was #2....and that's only if they think the top two in this conference should be ranked.

Maybe ESPN plants a bug in the ear of some of the coaches..."hey, give them votes so people will watch." A guy can dream, right? 03-lmfao

RE: Coaches Poll comes out tomorrow. Which AAC teams are ranked/getting votes?
Sounds like Tuberville will vote for ECU. He said we should be picked to win the AAC.

“East Carolina probably should be the team picked to win this conference,” said Tuberville. “They went and destroyed a North Carolina team that beat us at the end of the year. They’re well coached, they throw the ball around and they’ve got a quarterback that is very dynamic. So our conference is going to be very valuable to college football in the next few years.”
