They've got 7 beers that BA scores over 90 and three (La Fin Du Monde, Maudite, and Trois Pistoles) that score 100/100.

I've got a bottle of La Fin Du Monde in my beer fridge at home that I may have to get into this weekend and I think I might have to track down some Blanche de Chambly as well.

Ommegang makes legit stuff as well. Actually in Cooperstown, NY, but makes the same type of Belgian beers.

I think I've got a Three Philosophers in the fridge too. Really enjoyed their Glimmerglass during the spring.

RE: Memphis in practice to go north and play Stammer's people
I am going to switch gears here a little. I looked at the video of the interview with Pastner and actually came away with a better feeling about Josh. It seems like he has more confidence in what he is doing. I am not sure I can put a finger on it but he exudes more of "I know what we need to do" credibility. I am not sure how to put an exact description on how I feel about his attitude but....I think what he exudes is a good thing. To give you another aspect of how I felt. When I was interviewing people to hire for my staff, every once in a while...not often....I got this feeling....HIRE THAT PERSON ON THE SPOT. It always proved to be the right move. Somehow, during the interview....something was said or an attitude was conveyed or something happened that just sent a message...don't let that person escape. I kind of got that feeling about Josh as I was seeing that video.

I can't ask any of the players or coaches to bring it back, but I'll be happy to pick up a case in Montreal and bring it to the game with me if someone from the board is going to be here. I'm not sure how much beer you're allowed to bring back. It might only be 6 or 12.

What beer? I had some good stuff in Quebec, but the friends we visited in Montreal were pouring swill (not local).

Apparently Memphians love Unibroue.

I had the Unibroue Éphémère Cherry in Vegas about 6 months ago and have looked all over the US for it but can't find it.

If there are adult Memphis fans going to the games in Canada that are willing to bring it back for you, I will pick up a case in Quebec on my way out there.

I worked the Unibroue booth at zoo brew a few years back with some buddies as a favor to someone I knew at SouthWestern Distributing. We were one of the first booths when you came into the zoo and most of your hop heads knew the brand but some folks were just there for the booze.

I had to tell several people that it wasn't bud light - la fin du monde is somewhere in the 8-9% range and there were a few of their seasonals that we had that were even higher ABV. People didn't listen and more than one got hammered very quickly.

Make sure and sneak some of those in for the Austin Peay game. I want to get lit before I tackle the draft.

They'd make great Jager-bombs. The cherry flavor mixed with the Jager would be some kinda good, frankly.

I can steal some typewriter correction fluid from work. I hope they aren't reviewing my internets usage.
