The reception was very nice...just unfortunate that it was light with attendance, the mic had some issues and the rain.

Hope they do it again but I will have suggestions to them as usual.

Yes, right after we left it rained hard...then as we got on 88 we saw a funnel cloud...apparently the sirens went off too.

So they are rescheduling for September.

The weather driving in from the suburbs was torrential...black skies, downpour and lightning. Then it cleared up. The interstate was completely dry around aurora. It was sunny and warm in DeKalb for the first hour or more.

The attendance was poor.

The food was free and the beers were only $2...good deal.

The audio for the coaches was horrible.

It was raining but they started the movie anyway. The crowd hovered under the overhang of the stadium and the Chessick Practice Center. Then the sirens went off and everyone headed for cover in the stadium and the Chessick Practice Center.

The movie was cancelled. It might be rescheduled in September.

Food was better than normal..

Wireless mic was bad, not sure why they moved all the coaches up top they could have stayed down and not used the mic.

Not sure what that Morris guy job is...

They started movie while it was raining and everyone was underneath overhangs on East and West side. Then they told everyone they could get food(local dekalbies) and they stood in the rain to wait for it.

Sirens went off and everyone had to funnel into nearest building and wait til sirens stopped. Then they told everyone they would reschedule.

Saw the funnel cloud west of Dekalb as we left with sirens blaring.

Went on the tour of the Coaches Club, really like Tim Rice. He said that space was untouched since Yordon was opened. Frazier saw that and said we need to do something with this space. 120 or so tickets sold, hoping to get to 175.

Did anyone else get the impression that Frazier was pissed?

I was not being sarcastic, I've told Frazier and several coaches about the dog pound. These are the fans that really care about NIU athletics. I also wanted them too see and read some of our ideas and thoughts.

Don't you think they were playing dumb if they acted naive to this site's existence?

When you're as invested as they are, they know of the site's existence. Just a matter of whether they choose to read or prefer to steer clear of potential negativity.

whenwokeup, no, because I told them when they first got here. I doubt they get informed of the dog pound within days of getting to DeKalb.

MaddDawgz is actually Sean Frazier himself. The scheduling doomsday schtick with Frazier coming along as the White Knight was all a hyperbolized ploy to up his value.
