Good Stuff!

Also, Direct TV is about to come on board as well!

Looks like we'll surpass the 70 million homes pre-launch that was hoped for

When that's finalized it will be essentially a clean sweep of everything for which we could have hoped. The payout should prove to be an eyeopener for some. Good news indeed!

I have been very pessimistic about the revenue from this venture but must admit the signups have been impressive, and especially the terms. The SECN is not getting ghettoized in tiers people have to pay extra for.

if they've agreed to the rates one would think that it's over with.

One wonders if this changes the equation at all for the Pac 12. SEC and Big Ten now pretty much national. Can Pac 12 afford not to make some concessions?

For the first time, the biggest carrier in Baton Rouge, Cox, will be carrying the BTN and PACN. But you have to buy another sports package at $10 more a month to get them. In contrast the SECN is being carried in the basic plus package that almost everyone gets. Not surprising since this is SEC territory. But since some people will buy that sports pack, the PAC and BTN will be making some money in south Louisiana.
