I think SMU & USF are rated too high at this point. Tulane too low.
SMU can turn it around....USF is still not there yet.
Depending on which team shows up (in a Jekyll/Hyde kind of way) Memphis can turn some heads this year.

Where have I been? I thought Tulsa was supposed to come in and be a top 4-5 team in the conference; giving us at least one more borderline top 25 team?.
WTH are they doing here?

Just seeing ECU in print again turns my stomach. When are we scheduled to go to that dump again?

I love Liberty bowl Stadium....grew up watching games there. But to call ECU's home a dump compared to the liberty bowl is a grave mistake.
If we enjoyed the support that their program does fanwise...we might move up the food chain in the P5's eyes.

I agree. Sure wish Boise and BYU had come aboard.

Wouldn't call it a dump. It is like a lot of older stadiums that were built piecemeal but IMO it has a nice character. ECU has also rec'd go-ahead from the state legislature to add another 8000 seats (deck on visitor's side). More important, it is an OCS & the one end zone connects directly to ECU's OC arena. ECU has impressive alumni support & they are developing a good FB program that at times rivals any in NC.

WTH are they doing here?

Tulsa was awful last year. The coach (a local high school guy and very beloved in the area), did well his first couple of years with the previous coaches players. But, it 'appears' as though Tulsa is heading in the wrong direction. Most honest Tulsa fans are thinking they may be lucky to win 4 games this year...

I think they might win 2 or 3, at best.

Greenville is at the end of nowhere..its way past the middle. Its support is regional even in NC. No one west of the fall line cares. They have done a good job of maximizing what they have but believe me when I tell you there is no blood left in that turnip. Its not the last place I would go a football game, wait yea it is.

I've never been there but from what I hear I'm never going.

I have traveled through NC especially from one end to the other of the Outter Banks and I can tell you that all the shops along the way have ECU apparel and other items. Spent time in most of the major city's and the same thing. We don't get that in Jackson, Nashville or anywhere else in the state.

The MTSU game is huge for us this year. I've heard they have a really good team this year. I've got a feeling we'll do to them what we did to A State last year! Go Tigers!
