They really have not killed an inordinate number by the standard of what happens in warfare. Not that the deaths aren't unfortunate, but some civilian casualties are always unavoidable. The number in this case is actually quite low, suggesting very strongly that Israel is neither targeting civilians nor careless nor incompetent, but that the IDF is in fact doing a pretty good job of focusing on military targets and minimizing collateral damage.

If the IDF were targeting civilians or careless or incompetent, the number of civilian casualties would be larger by a factor of anywhere from 10 to 100.

They launch missile strikes and mortars from populated areas surrounded by civilians on purpose, human shields. They do this on purpose so when IDF responds civilians get killed and people like you fall for it every time.

So hamas is hiding out in Un buildings?

1800 are total civilian losses with certain agents of Hamas arbitrarily saying that 82% are civilian. That 82% is identical to the number in 2009, which Hamas later admitted was BS, saying that they lost or 700 militants, over 1/2 of the total casualties.

Hamas is lying, the media by way of the UN pass it along, and no-one that I have challenged to back up the numbers on any way has provided anything to substantiate it. You, my friend, are so sloppy as to not faithfully portray what the media have actually said.
