What's up with VIcksburg, CD??
Your town appears to have its share of village idiots. First the city manager engages in petty theft of a few thousand here and there, throwing his good name and career in the gutter. Now this guy seemingly bad mouthing most every civic leader on YouTube.

Reminds me of Grandville, MI about 10 - 15 years ago when the Chief of Police was caught after embezzling over $100,000 supporting his lottery addiction.

Small towns often are more trusting of their individuals and have less internal controls over spending. It is a shame when trusted officials tarnish the names of nice places.

Don't know, don't live there.

Close, but not a Vicksburg resident. Most of the corruption I see around here is in Portage. Portage school admin was more interesting than any soap opera. Affairs, theft, corruption, waste, fraud, they had it all.

My next fav is one of our city commissioners. She was fired from a non-profit for embezzling 63k. Still got elected. Was arrested at a HS bball game....got reelected. Was caught using the city fire dept. to fill her pool. Left her crippled husband for a teachers aid who was convicted for raping a mentally retarded student (she testified on his behalf). This is just the public stuff. I could elaborate further but I can't for professional reasons.

Sorry Dip. Thought I remembered a thread where you were extolling the virtues of living in Vicksburg versus the larger city of Portage.

Obviously I was wrong.

Schoolcraft.

No, I've been trying for years to get Kimbo to move here. Closer to his work, 5 minutes from Portage retail, great academics, baseball, bball, and football program. City attributes without city traffic, taxes, crime, congestion, as well as better property values. Five minutes from Austin, West, and Hogset Lake. His wife likes the city more than the idea of shortening poor Kimbos commute 03-weeping

Tell mom she won't need a mall in ten years. UPS will bring everything to your door on the day you order it.

You'll be telling your kids about the good old days at the food court.
