I am seriously starting to think that these middle eastern tyrants are really just the lesser of two evils.

In all honesty, our foreign policy is a joke, and has been for years. We talk **** about dictators for being too brutal and yet cry when radicals or people we don't like take over. The end result is we support tyrants who abuse their people and then turn around and piss on democracy.

my personal favorite is we celebrate when we try to bring democracy to them, then flip out when their elected officials do things we disagree

Democracy is conditional on doing only what america wants

Wouldn't the best win have been to not help the AQ rebels overthrow the gov't in the first place?

Better than what they have now, yes. It was none of our business, and a battle between two evils.
