Lots of new apparel available at etsubucs.com at very reasonable prices, including baseball caps. . . will now be able to wear the same official baseball cap as the ETSU baseball team. . . had looked for one all over town, at the stadium and online with no luck.

I like the new logos, particularly the pirate head. The "E" doesn't look great blown up on the website, but it looked good on the uniforms to me.

Of course, if they change it again in 25 years, people will be outraged that the school would dare remove a logo with such history and tradition. It's just the way people are.

Metal flake helmet reminds me of a cheap bass boat.

I like the new logos. I even like the E on the helmet. The one problem I have is with the color of the helmet. Why is it so dark? Or is this another preliminary helmet just with the new logo? I was thinking it would be more of a navy color than black. I don't see how these logos are worse or even on the same level than what we had. I will definitely be purchasing new apparel.

(Warning upcoming rant) This board kills me sometimes about how negative everyone is to change and no one has any patience either. Construction takes time people and a lot of planning. Projects go over budget and sit at a stand still all the time because people get in a hurry and don't do the research (e.g. hitting rock at the baseball field). I know because I am in the industry. So far to me, Noland and friends have done everything right and have only made the university better. Everyone needs to chill out about the "progress" we have made so far. And as for basketball in Freedom Hall, I think it is a good thing and will create MORE of a home court advantage than the dome. The students not showing up off campus argument is over played. They don't show up on campus anyways. FH is layed out better for basketball anyways. I say all this to say, get over yourselves and Go Bucs!

Yes I support the new helmets and logos. It is a Buc helmet and it will grow on people as time goes on. Anything and I mean anything would have been criticized no matter what it was. Anything from the past would have been panned as out-dated and ugly. We have to get the Bucs back on campus and going through work outs and getting better. Helmets will be great when they got on the field and start competing.
