How can you not be well received in the Tampa/St. Pete metro area as an NFL head coach? That sounds a bit forced. Plus the only person that perceives PJ Fleck as a "jerk" seems to be you and I doubt you've met him.

03-lmfao

I asked if it sounded familiar. I guess it did for you.

Uhhh, newsflash there pal, plenty of people perceive him to be a jerk, many aren't as open about sharing their opinion but it's out there, and you know all to well there are even other posters here who aren't afraid to share their opinions of him. Some of them make my "jerk usage" look tame.

There were plenty of doubters around the NFL and Tampa Bay about the Schanio hire because of his lack of NFL experience, I guess you wouldn't understand or even have heard about that, not being a sports fan and all.

So you've never met the man or can point to any credible criticism just stuff you've heard and other internet posters (that may or may not just be you under a different screen name from what I understand).

All you seem to have regarding Schiano is that he didn't win and some NFL people didn't like college head coaches. Whatever. Again a forced analogy from someone who rabidly hates PJ Fleck.

So meeting a coach is a requirement to anyone being allowed to have an opinion of said coach? Really now?

There is a lot more regarding Schiano, like I said, all you have to do is listen, read or both. It's out there for all to see. If you don't know about it, that's on you. Not up to me to point you in the right direction. It's obvious you either haven't a clue or don't want to admit that you know and are playing games.

All HC have "their" group of coaches that they stem from. Fleck has his...looking at the guys Fleck has coached for/with I think he has had some very good mentors. Take the best and worst of what you have learned from former bosses and make it your own.

Schiano isn't the only coach Fleck has ever worked for. If you have ever had a conversation with Fleck you know that he admits there are things that he loves about Coach Schiano, but there are also things that Fleck has/does differently with his staff because of Schiano.

Of course Schiano isn't thh only HC he's ever worked for, but for some reason it was put up as an example of him being the guy that he benefited from working with. If that's his main mentor, he's coming up a few cents short of a dollar in that department.

There are more than a few people in athletic department including football program who HAVE met him that think of Fleck as a jerk, or worse.

Do Tea Partiers, other Repubs-Conservatives need to wait until they've met President Obama before they dislike him, his policies, or accomplishments?
