I can't decide if the purpose was to blend in and kind of make the rest of the bland concrete and empty seats in Rynearson look "intentional" (hence "The Factory" name), or if they are secretly becoming concerned? Did they think this whole thing out? Yuck.

I think its going to make the TV games look almost black and white especially with those grey on white uniforms they wear. I guess they were looking to do something different and really don't have much of a fan base to upset.

I don't know Ken. I can sort of understand the RTB mantra of striving to move forward.

But when I see this gray mess called The Factory I envision a rustbucket broken down plant in Detroit that needs to be leveled.

I think you'd draw more people if you changed the name to Kwame Kilpartrick Field and the players were dressed in prison garb. You could wear the traditional orange, and then have the black and white stripes with a ball and chain on throw back days.

I used to call Smelly Shorts a monument to concrete, but with all that gray emptiness, Rynearson may have to take on that mantra.

First of all, stadiums everywhere (including yours) are made of concrete. When all are empty that is what one sees. Granted we have had attendance problems, but as I have said before, that all changes with winning. If, Eastern can win some games this year, and at least be competitive in the ones they lose, the fans will begin to return.
As far as "Row the Boat" goes. I could understand it if you were the Naval Academy, or Coastal Carolina. There is no connection to water with Western. I would have come up with "Charge on Broncos", or "Stampede Them", or something to that effect.

We are the Great Lakes State? Pj is trying to tie in the whole six hour radius.

Yeah most are made of concrete, but they don't emit a stench of concrete. Most have some sort of character. The ash tray analogy, it was so spot on.
