RE: Trojan football to introduce beer sales
We are moving in the direction of beer sales at our athletic events also. I see nothing wrong with it. It can be cut off at a certain point in the game and it clearly will bring in more revenue.

I think I'll have a beer.

Curious to see how it works out.
Crowds being too sober never seemed to be a big problem.
Still, with average college attendance declining, you need every draw you can get.
And I assume there's a pretty good markup on stadium sales.
On the other hand, I assume there are more fights and fewer families.
You could have drunk sections and sober sections and they could do cheers to one another across the stadium.

No one is going to get drunk inside the stadium. Beer sales won't keep families away. There are drunk people at every sporting event whether you sale beer or not. Any incident inside the stadium will now be blamed on the beer by those that are against it.

Beer at the baseball games were $5 a piece. They had Bud Light, Rolling Rock, Stella, Ultra, and all the Rita's.

I think I'll have a beer.

Its amazing to me that those programs that need help in boosting attendance would not even try it. And every study I've read has concluded that a high percentage of college students binge drink today, so how does it contribute when they are already drunk entering the stadium?

Most people agree with you... Theres just a select few ultra conservative people that want to push their beliefs on others.

I love how if you disagree with something then you are pushing your beliefs on other.........
