Perdue grabs surprise runoff victory over Kingston in Georgia
I haven't paid attention to this race. Didn't even know it existed actually. Looks like amnesty bites another one in the @ss by surprise.

Quote:Erick blames the Chamber of Commerce endorsement for the narrow loss:

In the last two weeks, David Perdue made hay out of walking out of his meeting with the Chamber. He claimed the Chamber wanted him to vote with them 100% of the time. He would not.

That message resonated. Kingston was the career politician in the pocket of the Chamber and would pass amnesty.

Not now. He lost. And he did so largely because David Perdue made Kingston own his Chamber of Commerce endorsement.

Kingston had broader appeal in the general, so I'm glad to see Perdue win. I think the race leans towards Perdue, but Nunn has a good chance especially with Deal floundering at the top of ticket.

Nunn had a better chance running against “Washington insider” Kingston,
Purdue taking the GOP nomination wasn’t good for her.
