Good Ole' HustleBelt
These two articles have all the writers predicting NIU to drop pretty far from the high graces that we have been in. Even better, is the comments section where numerous people agree that Toledo will beat NIU in DeKalb this year 03-lmfao

Yeah you're right. I guess for the article you are referring to, I am talking about the comments people have made regarding that prediction.

I just find it funny that most people outside of NIU believe that we have absolutely no talent outside of Lynch from last year.

I will never forget standing on my balcony in the summer before the 2012 season, about 3 in the morning having some sodas....my buddy Tom predicting NIU beats Iowa and proceeds to run the table and achieve some grand illusion of making the national championship or a BCS bowl...My response "We have a quarterback who can't hit the side of a barn with his arm"....then followed arguably the 2 greatest seasons back to back in NIU history....

Moral of the story: Who knows what these kids can do at QB, but our QB play will truly be the tipping point for our team to strive for another great season or piss down our pant leg....hopefully the trend is our friend!

I think our program is at a point where we will be at a high level. The uncontroling factor is injuries.

QB play on offense and DL play on defense will decide if we continue to be dominate.

Why does anybody care what people predict? Predictions are almost always wrong. People are bad at predicting. Don't get upset.

IMO, we struggled at the end of last year because we didn't utilize anyone BUT Lynch. There was plenty of talent around him. Plenty.

Yup...I am starting to think our O will be better as a team this year with more scoring.

You do realize we broke like every offensive record in MAC history last year, right?

Yeah...80-90% of that is because of Lynch. I think he is trying to say that the offense is going to be more well rounded and the yardage will be equally spaced between more people.

He also said this year's team will have "more scoring." [Image: strong-no-smiley-emoticon.gif]

We averaged 39.6 ppg last year.

Ahh sorry, I did not catch that! I think we can assume we will still be averaging over 30 ppg next year.
