Jason Boland probably has the best, or at least my favorite, voice in modern music.

Yeah he's really good...

Man that's old... That was back before they specified whether it was LF, CF, and RF. His position just says OF... You can probably still smell the bubblegum on it too. Topps always had a stick of gum in their cards. My favorite brand of cards was Donruss. I can still remember lighting up with excitement every time I flipped through a new pack and got a Rated Rookie card. I had a ton of Andre Dawson and Darrell Strawberry MVP cards. Gary Sheffield, Greg Jefferies... Man, those were the days.

If you want to hear a really great up and coming country artist, listen to Thomas Rhett

Try out Sturgill Simpson.

Those are worth some money these days.

There's place here in town called the Old Ballpark that has all kinds of rare cards...some worth thousands of dollars.

If you make it up, I'll take by there.

I find an occasional new country song I like, but I love 70s, 80s and early/mid 90s country. What sucks in regards to country music now is that its the #1 format for radio stations across America so Nashville will keep cranking out the crap they currently produce.

George Strait > Garth

Still have most of my old baseball cards. Had a friend back in high school (early 90s) who had a card collection worth close to $20,000 at the time. His dad was a kidney doc and he got every card he wanted. Multiple Michael Jordan rookies, multiple Canseco, McGwire, Mattingly, Boggs, Bonds, Griffey rookies. All the top stars of the 80s. Some stuff from the 60s and 70s bought at shows. It was impressive.

There will only be 1 Elvis. Ever. Period. End of discussion.

Sounds like a plan, brother... I don't know where all my cards went, but I do still have about 200 Rickey "The Man of Steal" Hendersons from the 80's and 90's... That's who I always traded for and collected.

Here's a little tip:

The OP was not comparing Garth to Strait.

Elvis is a completely different artist.

Aw man, some more names I'd forgotten about...

I also like Upper Deck cards but my mom never would by them for me because they were like $5 per pack as opposed to $.50 for Donruss...

Why do you think gay posters wouldn't like a song about how a long-haired hippie outsmarts a bunch of rednecks in a bar?

F You Florida Georgia Line

F You Luke Bryan

You clowns are a disgrace and that ain't country you are putting out.

Garth is real country

I'll agree with you on Luke Bryan... but I actually like Fla-Ga Line.... Now if you want to throw Sugarland over a cliff and dump them, be my guest :)

ANd I'm suprised Garth's baseball card lists him as Outfield.. he was originally trying to be a third baseman.

When it comes to new country, I can handle Florida-Georgia Line. I'm a Band Perry fan (I know the drummer coincidently). My dad worked with Trace Adkins on oil rigs. I like this Cole Swindell kid that just came out.

I could do without Luke Bryan.

I'm enjoying some of Dierks Bentley's new stuff.

But I enjoy classic country more than the new stuff.
