Get the tickets through the Memphis ticket office.........he'll still be close to the UCLA fans because, relatively speaking there won't be a lot of us out there.

Good video! The player with the tooth pick in his mouth reminded me of the Memphis player years back that actually swallowed a toothpick. Took him years to overcome it.

What the heck do they let them bring toothpicks in the weight room for anyway?

Has there been a marked improvement in the team due to the weight lifting set up they now have available? You really cannot tell from the video about the three most important aspects, athletes weight, total weight on barbell and number of repetitions. But, maybe someone knows if there has been a big improvement in this training area.

They were a bigger team than previous years and probably bigger than last year. It was a hype video.

The reason I asked those questions was that this is the new weight training facility and I was wondering if this new facility is paying great dividends this year. You would assume it would but so much is also associated with the strength coach and players attitudes that there are other ingredients to consider. Being in Texas....I am pretty far removed from what is going on at the U of M.

The average bench press improvement was 15 pounds, or over 1,500 total pounds of improvement for the squad. The team had over 2,000 total pounds of improvement in the hang clean, an average of 20 pounds per man.
