It was probably some liberal that was offended at the arrogance of our flag and how it makes immigrants from other countries feel threatened.

Yea, pretty odd. Some seem to think they are American flags painted over in white. Could be.

From my time working in the KVK, those bridges are monitored at every direction. However, someone obviously missed it, but I believe they'll find the ones who did this and will prosecute them.

I wonder which bloated, overpaid, union thug port authority employee slept through his shift while this was going on. The surveillance tape on this could be some first rate stuff.

NBC News says some lights on the bridge were turned off about 3:30 AM. Disgruntled current or former employee, perhaps?

Former NYC mayor Rudy G. said al Qaeda had a extreme fixation with NYC bridges and tunnels. He suggested there is a VERY slight chance this is some sort of signal to those who might want to cause harm to the people of NYC.
