This is a sad story. My wife and I worked out with one of the BGSU coaches and at least one of their players and Rod Carey in the hotel gym prior to the MACC last year. The BG coach had played with Carey at Indiana. All of them including the BG player were polite, well spoken and the kind of people that would make you proud of your school and proud of your program.
It only takes one knucklehead to damage what so many try so hard to build.
I guess the player in this situation should be presumed innocent until proven guilty but it takes a lot for a young woman to come forward in this situation. I hope that the truth comes out and that there are appropriate consequences.
