I actually have no issue with this. When you're putting out the best product in the conference for a half decade and more, you can charge more. They are also trying to get some more money.

It's nice to see NIU is trying to establish itself as an elite product. Last year I bought tickets and gave them to friends to use, I decided to not purchase this year, but it looks like they have made decent sales so far.

I endorse it. If NIU is to ever make itself attractive for P5/top-G5 schools to come to HS and position itself as a candidate for the AAC, fans have to rise to the occasion. This is one of those avenues.

Its a good idea to keep the ticket prices high, if indeed scheduling at home is a priority for Frazier. I trust that he will dramatically improve scheduling going forward, because as it stands now you cannot justify being highest in the MAC for the current schedule. I have faith in Frazier to turn this around, but it would be nice to see some results soon. He teased that there would be announcements soon, so I am crossing my fingers. Our fanbase REALLY REALLY needs it right now.

Part of the reason would be proximity to a large city.. Chicago area is expensive to live in

$110 makes our's the most expensive? That's only $22 / ticket. That's cheap.

I figured with Toledo always charging more their premium home games (BGSU and BCS opponents) that their's would be tops. They are able to attract all those BCS opponents that we are unable to.

Yeah, the focus should really be on the fact that the MAC is quite a bargain, not that NIU is marginally more expensive.

Those game tickets may be more, but for the cheapest season ticket and cheapest general admission ticket, NIU charges the most.

Also, BGSU is playing IU at home, I'm okay with not having a BCS team if it's a team like IU that perennially bad. When was the last time they had a BCS team?

The message is it is worth it!

Huskie football tickets are a great value for everyone.

I never thought it was price of admission that was hurting attendance. Create a good atmosphere and a place where people want to be and people will pay.

They really didn't do a whole lot of research for Toledo's season ticket prices. All they did was take the fan plan price for Toledo. When season tickets for the home side and lower bowl on the east side are over 90 dollars and prime tickets on the press box side are over 150 dollars plus a donation to the Rocket Fund.

Yeah, but $30 for the better experience over the west side is worth it. :)

Ticket prices should be set based on supply and demand. If NIU can continually average 20k per game, they will keep increasing ticket prices. Look at Blackhawks and Bears. Prices keep going up because people will pay. Right now, Cubs and Sox having hard time getting butts in the seats so they have much smaller discounts plus have premium games too.
