First of all: WE ARE NOT a country of immigrants. I am so sick of liberals saying that nonsense.

When I lived in New Mexico, I was a huge minority. For the most part I was treated with kindness. I was called gringo a few times, but many of my close friends today are some of the Hispanics I met living out there.

That being said, they did not like illegal immigrants from Mexico. Paul Rodriguez is saying some of the very things I heard many times from the Hispanic community in that area.

OK. Some of the things you say I can respect and say, "Okay, I can see where he's coming from." But that is just plain ignorant of our country's history.

Whether you like it or not we are a country of immigrants. My family has only been here for three or four generations on my dad's side. We all once immigrated here. The founding fathers were illegal immigrants in the lands of the natives, but we just pushed them out of the way.

Obviously we won't let ourselves get pushed out of the way like the natives originally did.

That guy understands that 1/2 of the illegals work, and the other 1/2 suck the
government nipple and or become criminals. I am sure that he saw the area where he grew get over run with illegals.

Where did you immigrate from?

You got anything to back up that tortured logic?

We are a nation founded by immigrants and we all have immigrants in our heritage, but a "nation OF immigrants" is just one of those tropes that seem to catch on.

The founding fathers were also all born here.

So you're an immigrant? If your father has four generations of family here, you're not an immigrant. We may have been a nation of immigrants about 300 years ago, but not anymore.

RE: A Native Born Mexican Speaks About The Illegal Invasion
Paul is speaking for most hispanics in this nation. I feel exactly as Paul is. I might be a hypocrite because my father came across at a very young age before borders were protected (open border). He in turn became a proud U.S. citizen who reared proud U.S. citizens. Of the five brothers four were members of the armed forces and three were Viet Nam veterans, so I feel we paid our due to this country.

Getting back to point, Paul is absolutely right. We have to repatriate these illegal aliens otherwise When will it stop? Clue: It won't stop. Every country would be doing the same thing if they were being swamped by illegal aliens and if it wasn't for that lady in NY's Liberty Island that promotes coming here it wouldn't be a problem now.

Let's just immigrate lawfully, that's all.
