Yea, just a country full of racists is what Obama has to deal with. I mean if anyone disagrees with him or his little lap dog Holder, you are a racist.

Quote:After the Soviet pilot killed 269 people on a civilian airliner, Reagan’s aides didn’t bother to wake him up to tell him what happened. When the president was eventually briefed on developments, Reagan, who was on vacation in California at the time, announced he did not intend to cut his trip short. (Reagan’s aides later convinced him to return to the White House.)

Having Reagan back would be quite a topping.
Was Obama not elected twice? There was an election, my dear. Its just that a majority of voters in this country don't agree with the current teaparty agenda proposed by the GOP.
There's no monarchy, just democracy.
Come on, I don't like Rick Perry, but I don't question his legitimacy. I question his sanity, but not his legitimacy.
And there'll be another election in 2014. You guys might make gains. They'll be another election in 2016. You can put up your candidate. Voters decide. But if you want to win the election, you might wish to promote a candidate that can actually convince independents and moderates to vote for them.

Only way Obama loses this is if Putin invades and conquers Ukraine. And even that might be a short-term loss to him as he'd be leading an attempt to win it back (e.g., military leader).
If the GOP wants to be attacking Obama, the best thing for them is for this to get resolved - quickly so that they can attempt to interest people in whatever issue they think will cause people to turn on him. Because this isn't going to be that issue.
I'm a moderate who doesn't particularly care for Obama, but I really have no idea where some of this blame at him is coming from. There were no Americans on board the flight, which started in Europe, and was shot down in Europe. It happened to be shot down in one of the more dangerous regions in the World right now, most likely by a group of Rebels that are claimed to be allies and receiving aid from a country that is a nuclear power, and has battled with the US Before.
If Obama makes the Wrong move here, he risks Putin getting bored and deciding he actually wants to run the Ukraine and invading one of our Eastern European Allies, who would certainly expect the US and Great Britain to come and help fight off Russia should it happen. That's a mess no one wants to start.
Outside of a strongly worded statement condemning the attack, more subtle weapons shipments into the Ukraine, and an appeal to the UN for sanctions...I don't know what exactly he can do.
Comparing him to Reagan, who waited 4 days and in his Autobiography even admitted he wasn't thrilled with the idea of cutting his vacation short for an international incident that originated on US Soil is foolhardy.
