Back to the topic...

I think those who are discounting Thomas, Guyn and Sanders, due to their offensive skills, are being far too simplistic. I realize we have seven very promising new players, but they're still NEW, and it is going to take some time to get them to play and defend the way Mick wants. Yes, these three are not the ideal scorers, but by now, Mick trusts these guys to defend.

I am also not discounting the work these guys are putting in over the Summer. If Jackson could have the quality senior season he had, I feel any or all of these three can also turn in solid efforts this season.

Also, just because these three will certainly be taking on leadership roles, it does not necessarily mean they will have critical roles on offensive. Nor does it mean they'll occupy most of the minutes.

and keep in mind folks, all i was saying in the original post is that these three guys are very valuable to the team in that because of their experience they are the ones to pass on the winning culture and expectations and set the tone for the newbies. IE they are going to contribute beyond stat sheet items....and for that im grateful for them
