CMU losing in-state recruiting battles
The Bolden announcement got me thinking... Not only is CMU losing recruiting battles to WMU, now they are losing similar battles to EMU. Michael Ojemudia being the other one.

Keep extending Enos' contract Heeke! 03-zzz

I hope they do...Enos would have never lasted this long in Kzoo. You all would have lost patience with him several years ago. He doesn't have all the funky sayings that Fleck does, he just says nothing like Eeyore 03-zzz03-zzz03-zzz03-zzz

lol

In fact, we've lost 3 consecutive head-to-head battles with EMU.

Oh, wait - that's you guys. Disregard.

Thanks.

Emus last commit was Hunter Andrews. He had interest in several GLIAC schools, and WSU had mutual interest. His only offer was EMU.

Malaysha Flanders had an offer from Indiana State.

Blake Banham had an offer from North Dakota State.

The two Jucos had no other offers.

Brandon Johnson and Rob Pavelich had no other offers.

So what 3 did we lose in a head to head with EMU?

Arrows80 is talking about W's and L's to EMU. He changed the subject on you...WE/U are talking "recruiting battles" he is talking "game battles".

Its ok Arrow80 you cant help yourself...I get confused too when I smoke to many of those funny cigs. Good thing you landed on this site with us and not on the Walmart site.

Depends on whether you're responding to the topic.

So is Enos losing recruits to both EMU and Western?

Lol

Thanks

RE: CMU losing in-state recruiting battles
Just for fun, because it's a Sunday night... let's see how everyone has been stacking up lately in head-to-head recruiting battles:

2014
WMU vs. CMU = WMU 6-0 (Bezerra, Doyle, Matich, Okorafor, Faulkner, Van Dort)
WMU vs. EMU = WMU 8-0 (Braster, Brown, Finley, Matich, McDaniel, Okorafor, Phillips, Stone)
CMU vs. EMU = EMU 2-1 (Harris, Vann - EMU, Stanitzek - CMU)

2015
WMU vs. CMU = WMU 2-1 (Keenoy, McMullen - WMU, Wilborn - CMU)
WMU vs. EMU = WMU 1-0 (King)
CMU vs. EMU = EMU 2-0 (Bolden, Ojemudia)

If this isn't at all concerning.......

Can you offer a similar breakdown for scUM vs. MSU in head-to-head recruiting from 2008-2013? Once you've done so, perhaps you wouldn't mind translating the results as well.

I eagerly anticipate your reply.

Thanks.

Stanitzek from West Catholic was originally committed to EMU, that should count for 1/2 point. And who steals commits from EMU?

Even Arrow's eyes glaze over listening the happy talk on Pravda Illustrated. He just comes here to get a taste of how the First Amendment works.

Oh, I understood it well enough. I also understand that recruiting is only a small piece to the puzzle, while you "understand" that "coaching is overrated in football."

Thanks again.

X's and O's are overrated, but coaching definitely isn't.

BITD I had friends on both CMU and EMU staffs.

Was talking one winter with my Chip friend about how recruiting was going, asked him how Eastern was doing.

He said, "We never lose anybody we want to Eastern."
