I'm really not considering Ole Miss a competitor for his recruitment on their merits, but if it plays out that way, c'est la vie.

Martin is trolling unless he has a legitimate source(s) backing up his statement. 24/7 Sports, for example, does not even list the Black Bears as a contender. It takes more than just the Black Bears stalking Skal to make them a serious suitor.

3 star guy, probably didn't want to get caught behind Austin and Shaq. I look at that as a situation where he wanted minutes and not to sit.

You make a good and reasonable presentation. However, why would anyone think he is crazy that the Black Bears are taking an interest in Skal and are present at his games? I decode his statement as meaning much more; namely that the Black Bears have a shot for Skal because they would not waste their time on a hopeless cause.

Trolling may not be the right term. It is speculation lessening his credibility - unless (as I stated previously) he backs it up with solid sources. In fairness, he may have mentioned the sources previously and I missed it.

Maybe the Black Bears think they got a 5% chance of landing him and would rather spend their resources on a 5% chance than a zero chance considering they don't get players of Skal skills and level walking in their locker room often. It's a shot but nevertheless a very small chance for them

He is trolling. It be more believable if he said georgetown. They actually are trying to work the Skal angle. Ole Miss is an attempt to stir the pot. Kennedy was at Peach jam watching the Lawsons. He loves wasting time
