Games on ESPNNEWS
For those worried about AAC games being on ESPNEWS It looks like ESPNNEWS will be showing a lot of college football this year. Even Big 10 and ACC games http://lsufootball.net/tvschedule.htm

RE: Games on ESPNNEWS
It's because the number of homes that ESPN News is now a basic sports tier has grown dramatically - roughly 85-million homes now - making it a more valuable platform to show games on.

RE: Games on ESPNNEWS
Interesting. Looks like ESPNews has regular 11 am, 3 pm and 7 pm CST slots on Saturdays.

The 3 pm and 7 pm slots are a little later than ESPN's typical 2:30 pm and 6 pm slots. When the 11 am game runs long, they might start the 2:30 game on ESPNews for a few minutes while the 11 am game finishes. By delaying the regularly scheduled ESPNews game start to 3 pm, this will reduce overlap.

Same thing at night.

RE: Games on ESPNNEWS
Eventually having games on ESPN News will be as common as ESPNU. Everyone that was upset that the American had football games on that network can breath a little bit easier. If the ACC and Big Ten are playing games on that network then ESPN believes fans will eventually check that network for college football games. Lower tier Big Ten and ACC games and lower and mid-level games from the American isn't going to to turn that network into the first place people go for college football; however, its better than being stranded on an island.

It's one channel over so it's definitely not a stretch

Sorry, east coast bias. We don't even think of other time zones.

Who was worried about it? It's right next to ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.

ESPNews just needs to be rebranded ESPNU2 or ESPN3 (and just group the stream only stuff in with WatchESPN name wise)
