Thousands of rockets of a different kind are being launched into the US and the liberals are encouraging more. Conservatives are afraid of doing anything cause there's an election coming up.

If there was only a way Iron dome could, instead of blowing up the missiles Hamas has thrown their way by the thousands, redirect them or have them still "live" when they come down on the other side of the border. That schit would end real quick.

These aren't guided missiles. You launch a rocket in the direction of the target at the appropriate angle/elevation and the Laws of Physics decide where it lands. Electronic Counter-Measures are ineffective because there is no guidance system to jam.

Iron Dome Interceptors work on a proximity fuse, which was developed in the early 1940's. They are only launched after a computer projects a specific rocket impact within a populated area. Many times there is no engagement because there is no threat to a populated area.
