I seem to recall those Tulsa games always been a dogfight. From the overall record, seems both teams have been evenly matched over the years.

I was on the Football Staff in the late 80's early 90's at UL and we had Tulsa, ECU, Memphis, Tulane and USM as regulars....all of us were Indy at that time....great football and great Schedules.....glad we have Tulsa back on the Schedule

I miss playing Tulsa. Best was the last one in Jonesboro, the first win under Steve Roberts. Friend is a pilot and heard a group of their boosters making calls to raise money to buy out the coach.

Also played them once in Tulsa in the 70's for 30 something years it was noted as the last major college football game where a team gave up two safeties. Last one was voluntary by Tulsa to avoid punting out of the end zone.

Bah...we would have asked for a 2-for-1.
