Lighten up, folks, it's AAU.

The ref disagrees with you. He made a special trip to see Penny and the team to apologize.

Team Penny assistant coach Todd Day confirms. RT @TarranceBaker: The ref came an apologize at our hotel

You believe everything you read on Twitter?

I agree learning experience for the kid. Maybe next time he won't act like a punk. Better that it happened in some AAU game than a state high school game or an NCAA game in college.

I don't think the call should have been made, but I wouldn't call it the reason that Team Penny lost. I would go back to the first half, when Team Penny let NJ Playaz go on a 16-0 run, while throwing up bad shots on their end, and playing bad D.

Thought neither were at fault, I hope that served as a lesson to the Lawson brothers to keep their cool on the court. I don't care about the bone-head because he won't get anywhere near a Tiger jersey.

Anybody who is really upset with this is nuts. It's AAU. I take my NBA2k dynasty more seriously.

It appears the ref attended the Joey Crawford "School of Me". The way he ran out there "T'ing UP" the kid like they were going to end up in a fist fight proves my point. It was a judgment call that could have been handled with a warning. The other kid wasn't totally innocent in the play. As Triple A said bad shot selection beat Team Penny. On the positive side Tiger fans have every reason to be excited about Team Lawson.

I just think its wrong to be calling high school kids a punk in a public forum like this.

He's in still in HS, so lets cut him some slack and let the adults in his life handle the discipline.

Calling him names on the internet should be beneath us.

Agree. It's bad enough when children berate other children and call them names.
