Not from me. I've hated UK fans from long before Calipari. It stems from living there in the '70s as a Tigers fan.

Not sure why any Tiger fans believe Kentucky fans lie awake at night worrying about Memphis. They have banners galore.

I do agree that they're mainly just butt hurt about missing out on Dedric...

While Memphis may be a better team than what was a really good team last season- it WILL NOT be because Joe Jackson is not on the team.

In this sense the ky imbreds are right- there is too much instinctive thought that losing one of our best players, because of losing that player, will make the team better.

Memphis was good in 2012. Lost Will Barton for the next season. Was a little better in 2013 without him, but NOT because he was not here. Team may have been elite with him in 2013...who knows.

Memphis was good in 2013. Lost Adonis Thomas for the next season. Was a little better in 2014 without him (lesser record but 5 top 25 wins), but NOT because he was not here. Team may have been elite with him in 2014...who knows.

Memphis was good in 2014. Loses Joe Jackson, although not early like Barton and Thomas. May be a little better in 2015, but NOT because Joe will not be here. If good, we may have been elite had Jackson had one more season...who knows.

The only elite player we had in somewhat recent vintage that seemed to visibly harm the team- meaning more than just some overblown singular episodes, was Sean Banks in 2005 (Kendrick never played).

As long as this instinctive knocking of better Memphis area players festers, with the tired idea that they have posses to the point it really hurts is applied to nearly all of them, the ky fans are right. Which does not mean that Memphis, like EVERY program, will not have external problems- but the Memphis itself is not that cause.

Notice that the inbreeds never mentioned that we beat Loserville not once, but twice last year. Shows exactly how little credibility they have based on knowledge. They're only crying in their beer over the fact that it looks like the Lawsons and probably Skal are off-limits to them now. I like it!

Last season was a lot like 1996. We were in good shape and everything fell apart at the end. A lot of 1996 was because Mingo got cold the last half of the season and a lot of this season was because our guards couldn't hit 3's.

Funny to see Memphis fans making fun of UK fans for worshiping their coach.

Also funny to see Memphis fans talk about UK fans being "obsessed" with Memphis.

Pot, kettle.

I could take a stab at who is impersonating a UK fan over there. It isn't obvious because their post count is up to blend in with the others but the way some post you can start to identify some of them. Wall2Rondo seems to be a poster from here

They'll be showing up here soon saying they agree with the Kentucky fans. They can't help themselves.

TiminMem23 maybe?

What I don't understand why people who think Pastner is great focus so much of their attention on the people who don't. Why not ignore it? Opinions are opinions. Everyone has them and they all stink.
You have a good "not great" point. But, could your ego handle it if no one ever commented on your posts?

Hmm. I'll do my part from now on and not comment on his posts. I best go look at this name again...already forgot. O yea...the mad one.
