Mustang fans haven't had much to cheer about this season, but by golly, at least the team is going to LOOK good!

SMU (along with all the FL and TX schools) is a cornerstone of this conference. They should look good! If they do well, it lifts the rest of us up. I think what Larry Brown has done to energize the city of Dallas, is a testament to the potential of SMU in football too. I'm amazed at the celebrities that made SMU games an event last year. No reason they can't be another TCU-type program that flourishes by landing the red chip talent (with the occasional blues) in Texas.

I hate the SEC, but I think they have the right idea about uniforms. Most of their schools wear the same basic uniforms that they wore 60 years ago. Tradition is an important element of college athletics.

EVERY AAC school is important to the conference in its own way.

I think you mean Cincinnati and Connecticut. Those are the only two schools with cache in the conference....07-coffee3

(UCF may be able to make that argument with a few more good years!!!)

I'm a traditionalist, but those helmets are great. The best logo in college sports.
