Shy My Encounter With Rubes and Rustics Wearing Orange
Yesterday, while running on Lipscomb University's Campus, I stumbled upon a UT-K "picnic" at the Allen Arena. The assortment of Vol fans convinced me that the hills and hollers laid empty. One fan - I kid you not - drove a Vol themed cement mixer truck. Of course, I was wearing my Tiger gear. I felt like Gandalft's lit staff in the depths of Moria.

Awesome that you were wearing Tiger gear. I am envious of the vol gathering somewhat. I hope the Memphis tiger fan base can emulate the same support in the near future, if they aren't already. Stay strong brother.

Hope your shorts had a tight waistband lest they insisted you join in getting drunk with them.

Vols have a whole different definition of the phrase "bottoms up."

So now we have to decide who's cooler -- a dude who drives his cement mixer to a picnic and a guy who feels like Gandalft's lit staff in the depths of Moria because of that.

I was in a parking lot a while back waiting for my wife. As I was sitting there I noticed a car in front of me that had a license plate holder that said Tennessee alumni. Funny because it was upside down. I rushed to get my camera out but he drove off first.

It is intended as a whimsical observation not to be taken seriously. I do not think I am a mythical heroic figure anymore than I believe that elephants really bounce on trampoline like in your avatar.

That's actual video dude - took lots of years and tears to train that elephant. Had to bury the cow --

I think that's Dumbo--- before he figured out he could fly. It needs to make more elephant noises.

The Hillbillies are attacking on Roar. We are outnumbered---holding them off best we can, but some folks individual reps are sustaining heavy casualties...lol. UTK folks are a thin skinned bunch but they stick together.

Seriously? Gandalf's staff is awesome.

In celebrating the Vol Nation, I came across this on Facebook.

This black tee is perfect for the "white & orange wearin" Vol fan.

Sometimes GA seems quite sane.

Early test runs, seems legit:

For those expert enough, like me, to understand the difference and why it's important - that's an African elephant. I've work with and around elephants all of my life. African elephants are able to jump and as a consequence, can be taught to jump on a tampoline -- as proven by my video. As I've already said here -- this took me years.

This makes me wonder. How much does it cost to customize a cement truck like that?
