...FGCU head coach Joe Dooley says he took disciplinary actions at least three times against the player during his three-year stint at the school. McKnight was left behind when the team made a three-game exhibition tour of The Bahamas prior to the 2012-13 season. He was suspended for the first 12 games of the 2013-14.

Shortly after McKnight signed with Tennessee, Dooley was quoted saying that he had dismissed the player from the program at the conclusion of the 2013-14 season for another violation of team rules.

McKnight stayed out of Dooley’s doghouse long enough to block 72 shots in 57 games at Florida Gulf Coast. He averaged just 6.5 points per game in 2012-13 and 6.9 in 2013-14 but was remarkably efficient, connecting on 60.2 percent of his shots as a sophomore and 66.3 percent as a junior. Part of his impressive field-goal percentages could be chalked up to scoring from point-blank range. He posted 38 dunks in 2012-13 and 24 in 2013-14.

He was recruited by Wichita State, Boston College, Memphis and Rutgers before picking Tennessee.

I have a hard time believing that Tyndall wasn't aware of this. I mean no one on his staff, no booster, no UT fan that he talked with, the UT compliance people, none of these people knew? And there was zero background check, no one even Googled McKnight's name?

And I thought UT might have found a coach who could lie better than Bruce Pearl.

Go for it. Get a good SEO firm and make sure you pay for advertising. It's worth the money.
