I think its a good fit for him in Houston. All he has to do is rebound and play good defense a few minutes a night off the bench. Im glad Joey is back in the NBA.

You go Richard Elmer Dorsey.

I can still see the breakaway dunk against Mich. St. in the 2008 run like it was yesterday but my all time favorite Joey moment was him pointing and laughing at Kevin Love after CDR dunked on him. That or the time he made it rain and incited a riot. Love that dude.

Side note, our dog is named Buckets after CDR, he almost got named Elmer after Joey.

The breakaway dunk on Michigan State is my all time favorite pic. The look on those guy's faces is priceless.

So many great Joey-times. I remember him a lot for this:

"NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Everyone knows Memphis can crank up the tempo and play a fast-paced game.

But if someone wants to get down and dirty? Well, the Tigers can slog it out with the best of 'em, too.

Joey Dorsey set the tempo with a performance that endeared him to football coaches everywhere, finishing with 13 points, 12 rebounds, a season-high six blocks, five fouls and an untold number of bumps and bruises, and top-seeded Memphis outscrapped Mississippi State 77-74 on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA tournament."

The one and only time I set foot in what was Alltel Arena.

That's a game to remember. Miss St had the great shot blocker Varnado, and all the pregame hype was focused on that guy.

Tigers BLOCKED SHOTS: 11 (D Rose 1, S Taggart 1, J Dorsey 6, C Douglas-Roberts 1, R Dozier 2)

Miss BLOCKED SHOTS: 7 (C Rhodes 1, J Varnado 5, R Johnson 1)

I almost forgot about Willie's 3s... 3-PT FGS: 6-16, .375 (D Rose 1-3, A Anderson 0-3, S Taggart 0-1, C Douglas-Roberts 0-3, W Kemp 4-5, D Mack 1-1)

Awesome game to be at. I still have one of the Alumni bandannas they were handing out at the park pep rally hanging from my rear-view-mirror.
