C-USA QB situations... rankings per NFL.COM
They rank all 128 FBS schools and here is how C-USA qb situations were ranked. I'm impressed by the Marshall and ODU situations and pleased with FAU and UTEP expectations at that critical position.

8. Marshall
15. ODU
36. FAU
48. UTEP
72. USM
75. WKU
78. Rice
102. UTSA
104. LTU
121. UNT
122. MT
126.UAB
127. FIU

If Frohnapfel didn't transfer out, we would have likely been top 5, if not top three.

first sign of dissention....that's interesting....

I do like Mullens getting a wee bit of respect.

One analysts view of the 2014 qb situations (starter, experience and backup). Like any other rankings, this and several dollars will get you a cup of over priced coffee at the coffee house of your choice.

It is nice to get the respect shown for the Monarch quarterbacks (Heinicke and Washington), but NFL.com also ranked ODU 121st out of the 128 FBS teams, basically reflecting total disdain for the ODU defense. That is not that big of a surprise based on the team’s defensive performance, especially last year.

However, it seems pretty clear to most Monarch fans that the defense will be improved this year, with the Monarchs quite likely fielding its best defense ever. The question, of course, is – how good will it be?

We are anxiously awaiting the answer to that question, but one thing is clear. Either the Monarchs will surprise some folks, or it is going to be a long, hard season for this team and Monarch fans. I am leaning toward it being the former.

GO MONARCHS!

Yep, it is prediction season. Nothing else to do.

Rice's projected starter is a bit of an enigma. If the guy who stepped in for an injured starter two years ago in the Armed Forces Bowl shows up consistently, we will do better than expected. Much better. If not, then it will depend somewhat on how fast Bailiff moves to try others, and which others he tries. If we are still working this out in October, we will be in trouble.

This year I feel good about our QB depth. First time in a while.

No, the analysis took into account the backup situation. Froh had meaningful in game experience and showed solid ability. The QBs behind Cato now all look good on paper, but have yet to prove anything in a game situation. Thus, when Froh left, our overall QB situation took a slight hit.

Not a single d1 snap by any of our qbs

I love our we depth though and we have one of the best young running backs in the country

Our qb play will develop just fine
