Just a little geography lesson here. NJ is on the east coast. You know, the Atlantic Ocean? Yeah, we actually had a short ride to the shore and did go out in the sun. Ergo, we got tan.

Also had an uncle with a farm and worked outside (summer jobs) from age 12 so I, at least, was out of doors a great deal.

Not all of NJ is near NYC.

Never watched it. Seemed like a show made up to have a lot of made up melodrama about touchy feelings to the extreme.

Not only that, but I believe none of the cast was actually from Jersey.

Also I've never really understood the problem people have with the accent. At least to me, the stereotypical deep south accent is much worse.

I grew up in north central Ohio so I grew up with no accent and my ex was an Army brat with only a slight southern accent. My daughter grew up here in the south and hated her southern accent by her late teens. Since I've lived here in Georgia for nearly 40 years, I consider myself a born-again Georgia girl. I've also worked with a NYC couple and a NJ woman, I got used to their accents as well.

Georgia and Alabama are easily just as good check the awards and accolades. NC vingegar base BBQ is great and is its own entity IMO. Have inlaws that are NC BBQ masters. ....and far as pretty women ummm lets not start comparing you will lose easily. I was stationed in NC at Ft Bragg and was a frequent vistotor to UNC, NC State and Elon. I have aslo been to Boone on many occasions, campus hands down gorgeous mountain setting....mountain birkenstock type wearing girls....not so much.

I found a good one at App, no complaints here. If you're at a college with more than 15k students and can't find good looking ladies that sounds like a you problem.
