I'd imagine they will sign him for the rest of the season. If they are too stupid to do it, someone will grab him again. I doubt they'd play him this month if they weren't interested in seeing what he can do and worth signing. Helps that the fans have spoken.

I wish the Sixers gave him a fair shake, but he was a little too efficient for what Hinkie is trying to do.

In all seriousness, his lack of athleticism kept him off the roster. They're trying to build a running team and Sean didn't fit. I'm really happy that maybe he finally found a good situation for his skill set. I root for him like no other.

I don't think I ever said he should give up and play in Europe, but I did say I didn't think he'd be able to play in the NBA. But he has really worked on his shot since he left UC. He gets it off so quickly that he looks very tough to guard. I give the kid a ton of credit and hope he stays close to the program.

I never said he should give up, but I did say given his age he ought to consider going to Europe for economic reasons. It came out of love for the guy not hate. The window was narrowing. Ecstatic it appears he has found a home with the Nets.

Same here, he's a brother of mine, though not by blood, and I wanted the best for him and felt that at this stage given the amount of opportunities he had and didn't take it might be in his best interest to go over to Europe where he could've made some serious money and get starter-level PT. I'm ecstatic that he has been given another shot and has taken advantage of it (and then some), but to imply that we aren't fans of his is absolutely ridiculous, and the sort of militant ridiculousness I've come to expect from some posters on here.

I mean, look at his username...that's all you need to see.

I'm right at the same point as the both of you. I always wondered how quickly the window was closing, but always respected his persistence. This is tremendous news, and real Bearcat fans shouldn't be fighting/squabbling about this.

I really hope he stays very close to the program. It would be hard to find a better role model for current players.
