RE: NC State...
Injuries, matchups, motivation, etc, etc.
I agree with ODUR8R; last year we looked pretty good against an ECU defense that had not, IMO "found itself". I would not have liked our chances to look as good had we played them later in the season.
We should not be talking about Pitt. It was playing without it's two best offensive players, and inexplicably dropped a number of easy interceptions.
Otherwise, that game would have likely been UNCish.
NC State is young and talented. They are healthy.
The big unknown (at least to me) is how our rebuilt OL handles the NCSt DL.
That was their weakness in 2013. However it will likely be better this year, and our OL is an unknown.
I think will know a LOT more about us and NC State after Saturday.

RE: NC State...
Bottom line: NC State should win by at least two touchdowns...at least. But that doesn't mean I'm not looking for definite improvement against ACC talent. Our showings against Maryland and UNC, two mediocre ACC teams, were beyond abysmal. That's exactly the type of performance I'm looking to avoid against NC State.
