StAte vs Montana State. I'd say 28,750, depending on the weather

Yeah, I hope and expect a sellout for ULM/Wake Forest. If so will be the 3rd time ULM has sold out its stadium and La Tech 0. And the separation continues for the pups. The game is going to be the first ever Camo Out and everyone that buys a ticket gets a free camp ULM shirt and Willie Robertson is doing the coin toss and the Robertsons will be in attendance.

We'll have over 45K Aug 30th, if the fire marshall allows.

Would love to see those numbers. Pretty ambitious though. Here's to good luck. I was in Lafayette in 2011 and I think there was 35,000 to 40,000 there. It was the most electric sunbelt atmosphere I'd been a part of. Troy vs Mississippi State in 2012 (29,500) was the second best I'd witnessed. I felt like I was at Clemson in Lafayette.

I predict 25,500 for Duke. Alabama "fans" are obsessed with the SEC. Duke will not draw as much as an SEC opponent would.

LaTech has never sold out its stadium? I find that hard to believe.

Appreciate the props. We'd have had 0ver 42,500 in 09' if the firemarshall wouldn't have stepped in. Hopefully with some changes in our seating we'll at least achieve 45... The week after, with La Tech in town should be another sell out.. We'll see?

last 4-5 season, we've averaged a little over 25,000 on either opening or September games against FCS squads so I think it's fair bet to go with the over/under on 25,000

Tech has never sold out its home Stadium. Largest crowd was vs. ULM......

Wow, I would never have made that bet, especially considering the great year they had just a couple of year's ago. And to think, it looks like they just about refuse to play ULM under any conditions. How large was that crowd versus ULM?

Georgia Southern has never "sold out" either, but we consistently put over 20k in a stadium with 18k "capacity".

I think we go over capacity for Navy (2nd home game). The current capacity is 30,008 but we had 32K plus for TTech. No room to add too many more bodies than that.

I would be very disappointed if GS didn't have at least 21000 for our first home game. I would predict more but our first game is vs Savannah St. Our first sell out this year will be vs App St IMHO.

Sadly I agree with you GPC, but the App game also has me worried being televised on Thursday night.

Unless we are undefeated I think there is 0% chance of a sellout against appy due to it being on ESPN and being a weeknight game.

I sure hope I'm wrong.

Another attendance thread on the Sun Belt board . . . some things never change . . . except the attendance around the league has!

Check this out from a decade ago: http://csnbbs.com/thread-14210.html

They just do not want to be there for the umpteenth straight App State victory.

Savannah State usually brings a good amount of folks. Especially when their last entire recruiting class was from the Savannah area. Lots of students, friends, alumni and family within a hour drive.

27,500.... First game of the year at home, plus new upgrades to the stadium with the ACC costal champ at home.... Duke won't travel that well but with everything I listed it should be around that number. Weather permitting
