RE: Vince carter signs.
He was a major cog for my Mavs last season. He can still ball pretty well, nice pickup for the Grizz. Can't day I like the numbers tho. Also it seems like the Grizz looked at Miller's injury free season this past season as a aberration.

I think the dollar signs danced in their heads more than injury concerns.

You can't make a 37 year old shooting guard someone you expect to be durable.

Are the Grizzlies now the only team with a player older than their owner?

RE: Vince carter signs.
3 years for a guy who is 37 years old seems a bit odd, but I guess the 3rd is only "partially guaranteed" whatevever that means.

I like him better than Miller though, who at this point is just a one dimensional player.

In fairness, Carter has been pretty darn durable the last few years. He seems to keep himself in great shape.

Still burns down the nets from deep as well.

RE: Vince carter signs.
Cuban wanted him to retire in Dallas. Several playoff teams were seriously interested in VC, including Miami, OKC, Portland.

The guy was nearly the 6th Man of the Year last year. Grizz FO essentially stole him as Rockets use maximum time allowed to decide on matching Chandler Parsons.

Vince is a likely first ballot Hall of Famer. Our FO is very shrewd.

Apparently not. VC was a huge part of Dallas' team this year.
